Karandaaz, with its mandate to improve the financial inclusion situation in the country, is looking at WHR Financing as an effective means of improving farmer’s access to formal lines of credit.

Detailed Description of the Actual Services

APEX Consulting Pakistan conducted 27 KII’s across Punjab and Sindh, in Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad. The KII’s were conducted with current or potential stakeholders in Warehouse Receipt Financing, which included Banks, Traders, Storage, and Logistic Providers, Financial service providers, and regulatory authorities. The firm compiled a report based on their findings regarding the current situation of the WHR financing ecosystem and its potential for growth in Pakistan.
